The Retail Banking segment constitutes the business with individuals and small businesses through branch network and other delivery channels like ATM, Internet banking etc. It raises deposits from customers, makes loans and provides fee based services to such customer. The Wholesale Banking segment provides loans and transaction services to large corporate, emerging corporate companies and other institutional customers. The company was founded on March 29, 1930 and is headquartered in Bangalore, India.
