Mr. Rolf Schneider-Günther is the founder of BayTech Venture Capital.
Before BayTech Venture Capital he was with Atlas Venture which he had joined in 1992.
He became Managing Director Germany and General Partner in the same year.
His track record includes a substantial number of investments which resulted in extremely successful exits via their IPOs such as Morphosys AG, Micronas AG, WaveLight Laser Technologie AG, Medigene AG, Actelion AG and Cardima Inc.
He started his career as CFO of a german high-technology company which is a world leader in chemical fiber processing.
In 1986 he joined Merck, Sharpe & Dohme as director of Business Development and moved to director of Strategic Planning and Controlling in 1988.
Rolf Schneider-Günther holds a masters degree and a Ph.D.
in Business Administration and studied Pharmacology at the Universities of Regensburg and Munich.
