Edwards is a Financial Advisor at Allen & Company of Florida, Inc. Prior to joining Allen & Co. in 2002, Mr. Edwards was with a national securities firm where he was a Financial Consultant.
He was a business owner for eleven years prior to embarking on his Financial Services career.
His extensive knowledge and empathy for the small business owner has helped him tailor financial strategies for both business owners and individuals.
He was an instructor of the Dale Carnegie Institute and served as a training consultant for the Institute for Leadership.
Mr. Edwards is an award winning Financial Advisor and was honored by numerous organizations including the destination of Financial Advisor of The Year in 2003 by Allen & Co. of Florida, Inc. He is a passionate contributor to his community and has served on numerous non-profit boards including the Lakeland Area YMCA, Lakeland High School Booster Club, Kiwanis Club, Polk Community College Alumni Association, D.A.R.E and the Young Life of Lakeland Foundation.
Mr. Edwards attended high school in Polk County and later obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the College of Business at the University of South Florida.
He is a lifelong resident of the Lakeland Community.
He holds Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as Life, Health and Variable Annuities.
He and his wife are active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland, where he serves as an Elder.
He has lent his talents to numerous child enrichment programs including youth sports and the St. Paul Lutheran School education program.
He and his wife have two children and three grandchildren.
