Steven M. Rathbone

Prior to joining HT Capital Advisors, Mr. Rathbone held the position of Vice President with iQ Venture Partners, a New York based investment bank specializing in capital raising for early-stage and venture-stage growth companies, private equity funds, and hedge funds.
He served various roles, including deal origination, marketing, and placement.
In the five years before joining iQ, Mr. Rathbone played a key role in developing and transacting business for Rayner and Associates, a Perth, Australia-based real estate and business brokerage firm.
He was instrumental in developing business in the inner-city for the firm, with a focus on investment real estate sales (commercial, industrial, and residential) and small business sales.
In addition to the above, Mr. Rathbone has experience in the assessment, financial modeling, and valuation of large-scale real estate projects, and has completed numerous cross-border transactions with clients primarily from Australia, South East Asia, Europe, and the USA, since embarking on his business career in 1996.
Mr. Rathbone holds a Diploma of Financial Services from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and has earned the coveted Master of Applied Finance and Investment qualification, also at FINSIA.
In addition, Mr. Rathbone holds Series 7, Series 66, and New York state insurance and real estate licenses.
