Cush Capital Management (CCM) is a value investor that seeks to offer a better alternative by selecting high quality stocks and bonds for the long term. This low turnover, tax efficient approach is considered one of the most successful techniques for compounding wealth ever created. The key points are: targeting businesses with long-term sustainable competitive advantages; recognizing that stocks are businesses with an intrinsic value that correlates to success in the longer-term; and knowing that it is rare to find a great company with a sustainable competitive advantage trading at a discount to its intrinsic value. CCM specializes in the analysis and selection of publicly-traded stocks, particularly those whose value has been underestimated by the markets. The firm looks to purchase stocks which they determine are trading at a discount to their intrinsic value. They then sell these stocks when their target sell price has been reached. CCM has held (or will hold) the following securities in client accounts when such was deemed necessary to meet client mandates: corporate debt, municipal securities, commercial paper, certificates of deposit, US government securities and other equity and/or fixed-income securities. When analyzing any investment option, CCM performs a thorough analysis of that security. They employ the following methods when performing analysis on an investment opportunity: fundamental analysis, technical analysis and cyclical analysis. CCM primarily holds securities for a period of one year or more; however, they also employ shorter-term holding periods (less than one year), short sales, margin transactions and option writing when it is deemed appropriate.

TWA’s primary investment strategy is to build efficient portfolios for clients using the principles of Modern Portfolio Theory. The firm implements their strategy by managing accounts internally or may delegate investment management responsibility to a separately owned firm. They use a long-term strategic approach to investing, but may use some shorter term tactical techniques from time to time.
