Mr. Adam has overall management responsibility for Standish Mellon.
He joined the Mellon organization in 1983 as Head of the Institutional Investment Management Group.
He subsequently joined Mellon Bond – one of Standish Mellon’s predecessor firms–as Executive Vice President in 1987, and became CEO in 2001.
Mr. Adam prior experience includes Head of the Equity Management Group, Director of Research, and Director of Investment Marketing at Wells Fargo Investment Advisors (now Barclays Global Investors).
He was also Deputy Managing Director of Wells Fargo Limited, a London merchant bank.
Mr. Adam received his BA from Cornell University.
