Atlas Copco AB is een van de grootste industriële groepen ter wereld. De netto-omzet is als volgt over de productfamilie verdeeld:
- lucht- en gascompressoren en elektrische generatoren (68,1%). De groep verkoopt ook persluchtbehandelingsapparatuur (filters, drogers, koelers, luchttanks);
- industriële gereedschapsmachines (16,4%): slijpmachines, ponsmachines, slaggereedschap, boormachines, draadsnijmachines, pneumatisch montagegereedschap, elektrische aandrijfmachines, enz;
- bouw-, boor- en sloopmachines (15,5%): pneumatische en hydraulische rotsbrekers, boorhamers, boormotoren, mijnkarren, boormachines, enz.
De netto-omzet is geografisch als volgt verdeeld: Zweden (1,3%), Europa (26,8%), Azië en Oceanië (36,5%), Noord-Amerika (26,7%), Afrika en Midden-Oosten (4,7%) en Zuid-Amerika (4%).
