Anthony Gerard Simone

Mr. Anthony G.
Simone is a President at Renaissance Broker Ltd. Prior to this, Mr. Simone served as Acting Chief Executive Officer from May 2016 to April 2017.
As President, he focuses specifically on Renaissance Capital’s international footprint and is responsible for client engagement, regulatory, governance and other corporate matters.
He is also Chairman and CEO of RenCap Securities, Inc. (New York) and CEO of Renaissance Capital Limited (RCL, London).
In New York, Mr. Simone leads a team of sales and trading professionals responsible for the distribution and trading of both equity and fixed income products.
In London, Mr. Simone is responsible for overseeing the business and brokerage initiatives of RCL.
Prior to joining Renaissance Capital in 2008, Mr. Simone was Chief Executive Officer for Investec Securities in New York, where he was responsible for the sales, trading and financial operations of the US broker dealer for Investec.
Previously, Mr. Simone worked for Ryan, Beck & Co, a full-service broker dealer, as Chief Financial Officer (2000-2007).
He started his investment banking career at Neuberger Berman in New York (1991-1999).
He holds an accounting degree from the University of Scranton, and an MBA from Fordham University.
