Charles R. Tilden

Charles "Rip" Tilden was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer in December 2001.
He also held the title of Executive Vice President of the Company from March 1998 to January 1, 2004.
The title distinctions among Vice Presidents at the executive level were eliminated and the title nomenclature of all such individuals was revised effective January 1, 2004 without a change to responsibilities.
As a result, Executive Vice President was deleted from Mr. Tilden's title.
Prior to that, He held the position of Senior Vice President from May 1997 and Vice President from November 1996 until May 1997.
Before joining InterDigital, Mr. Tilden served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Alco Standard Corporation in Wayne, Pennsylvania, an office products and paper distribution company, since December 1994.
