David Munro Beddis

Mr. David M.
Beddis, CFA, is Vice President at Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital Ltd. Prior to joining the firm, he gained many years’ experience working in the financial services industry for several sell side broker dealers including CIBC, Cormark Securities and GMP Capital Corp., where he most recently held the position of Director, Oil and Gas Analyst.
In these roles, Mr. Beddis developed a deep understanding of the capital markets while also travelling extensively to learn about the best investments to recommend.
He built effective working relationships with institutional portfolio managers, and learned about the importance of forging a strong relationship of trust with his clients and providing them with exceptional service.
Mr. Beddis graduated with a B.Sc.
in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Victoria and is a CFA charterholder.
