Scudder is Chairman of the Advisory Committee at Aureus Asset Management LLC.
He co-founded the firm in 2005 and brings over four decades of investment and wealth management experience.
He has many years of experience managing portfolios, helping to select and monitor managers in all asset classes, dealing with inter-generational family issues, examining philanthropic goals and responsibilities, and providing leadership to boards of trustees as well as to families.
Mr. Scudder worked as a Partner of Wellington Management Company, from 1968-1998, he managed institutional and individual portfolios, with responsibility for both asset allocation and equity management.
At Harvard Management Company, from 1999-2005, he provided overall investment direction for the more than 600 charitable trusts for which Harvard acts as trustee.
Additionally, he has served as a Trustee for several family groups and for non-profit organizations, including the New England Conservatory, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, and St. Mark’s School.
Mr. Scudder received his BA degree from Harvard College.
