Duncan is focused on delivering innovative capital solutions and strategic support to entrepreneurs and developers.
He leverages his broad range of principal investing and investment banking experience to create value for Forum, its partners and the broader community.
Duncan is firmly committed to “doing well by doing good” and ensures that each of the firm’s Private Equity investments has a positive environmental, social and/or governance impact.
Prior to joining Forum, Duncan was Director, North American Private Credit for Arena Investors, a New York-based alternative lender, where he was focused on idiosyncratic corporate and structured credit investments.
Prior to Arena, Duncan spent over 9 years with Macquarie Capital in Toronto and Vancouver, most recently as a Senior Vice President focused on Public Private Partnerships primarily in the US broadband sector.
Previously, he founded and spent 4 years growing Macquarie’s Canadian Leveraged Finance & Sponsor Coverage group.
He also played key roles in a variety of acquisitions in the infrastructure and financial services sector.
Duncan has been involved in more than $6 billion of principal transactions.
He also holds a Master of Finance (INSEAD) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Simon Fraser University) degrees, and is a CFA charterholder.
