Mr. Rosenfeld has broad experience managing and investing in successful businesses, and has been an active entrepreneur, investor and advisor to numerous technology-focused companies.
In addition to his role with Deson Ventures, Mr. Rosenfeld is a Managing Partner of Highridge Partners, a closely held real estate company he co-founded in 1976, which has acquired, developed and managed a real estate portfolio valued at more than $3 billion.
Previously, Mr. Rosenfeld was Co-Chairman of Schuler Homes, Inc, a publicly traded homebuilder in the Western United States with revenues in excess of $1.5 billion.
Mr. Rosenfeld was also President and CEO of Kaufman and Broad, an international housing and insurance company with offices worldwide.
Mr. Rosenfeld received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1956.
He is also a C.P.A., beginning his career with the international accounting firm Deloitte and Touche.
Mr. Rosenfeld has also served on the boards of art, health and academic organizations.
For several years, he was Chairman and Trustee of the UCLA Foundation, the major fundraising organization for the University.
He currently is a member of the Board of Overseers of the UCLA John E.
Anderson Graduate School of Management and member of the UCLA Chancellor’s Associates.
He also led the planning committee for the Anderson School’s new campus and he and his wife are major contributors to its Rosenfeld Library.
A contemporary art collector, Mr. Rosenfeld is a Founder of the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art.
