SparkLabs is an active manager which invests in any company positioned and planning for explosive growth, with a preference for seed or early-stage companies. Their focus is on companies in the Internet, online gaming, mobile, ecommerce and digital media sectors, and they seek to contribute to and help develop South Korea's startup ecosystem. The firm provides USD 25,000 to selected companies as well as free office space and a package of free perks valued at over USD 215,000. They are open to companies who already have over USD 1 million in revenue or funding, but which are looking for help to grow their business beyond its current product offerings or existing markets. Their mentorship-driven program lasts for three months and provides funding, office space, a structured program and access to a network of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors and executives. They accept applications from around the globe, however, one must legally reside in Korea during the three month period.
