Cunningham is a Principal, Director of Trading & Investments at Cunningham Asset Management LLC and a Chief Investment Officer at Cunningham Investment Management LLC.
Drawing upon his trading experience and intensive training, he developed a proprietary trend-following investment model and risk management system to support CAM’s investment methodology.
CAM’s investment approach makes the most of invested funds by minimizing risk and maximizing returns in accordance with disciplined, time-tested strategies.
Mr. Cunningham spent two years as a student of renowned money manager Ed Seykota.
During this time, he studied the key concepts required for successful money management, including investment selection, position size optimization, trading psychology, position entry and exit optimization, risk management, and the client engagement process.
Mr. Cunningham received an M.B.A from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) with an emphasis in Modern Portfolio Theory and has taught Modern Portfolio Theory, Fundamental and Technical Analysis, and Trading Psychology at UNR.
