Weiss Multi-Strategy Advisers LLC is a SEC-registered investment adviser and hedge fund manager headquartered in New York City with an additional office in Hartford, Connecticut. They are a wholly-owned subsidiary of GWA LLC. The firm is an affiliate of George Weiss Associates, Inc. (GWAI), formerly a SEC and NASD registered broker/dealer which was founded by George A. Weiss in 1978. GWAI was reorganized in 2005 and Weiss Multi-Strategy Advisers LLC was formed as the investment advisory entity which would manage GWAI?s private investment funds, managed accounts and proprietary capital.
