John C. Chigounis

Chigounis is Chairman at GIA Partners LLC.
Mr. Chigounis' responsibilities include macro-ecconomic analysis and monitoring.
Prior to the establishment of GIA Partners, LLC in October 2009, Mr. Chigounis was the Chairman of Global Investment Advisors, a division of Reich & Tang Asset Management, LLC since August 1999.
Previously, Mr. Chigounis was a Managing Director at J.P.
Morgan Investment Management, Inc. (“JPMIM”) where he managed over $5 billion in fixed income assets for institutional clients.
His clients included prominent public funds, pension plans, insurance companies, foundations, and endowments.
He served as a senior member of the fixed income Duration Strategy Team, Cross-Sector Strategy Team, Credit Committee, and as head of the High Yield Portfolio Management Team with more than $2 billion in assets.
Prior to joining JPMIM in 1979, Mr. Chigounis worked for several firms managing assets in insurance, banking, and pensions.
He has over 48 years of experience.
Mr. Chigounis received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
