Motors Liquidation Co., formerly known as General Motors Corp., was created to settle past liability claims from General Motors Chapter 11 reorganization. It has completed the sale of substantially all of its assets to General Motors Company on July 10, 2009. The firm was engaged in the design, manufacture, and sale of cars and light trucks. The company was founded in 1908 and is headquartered in Detroit, MI.
