John Gillespie held several positions in different companies throughout his career.

Later, he worked as a Vice President-Business Development at NextPoint Networks, Inc. and as an Executive VP-Global Sales & Business Development at cVidya Networks Ltd. He also worked at NexTone Communications, Inc. as a Vice President-Corporate Development and at Netezza LLC.
as a General Manager-Telecommunications Division.
