Napier Park Global Capital (US) LP (Napier Park) is a SEC-registered investment advisor and hedge fund manager headquartered in New York City. The firm was founded in 2013 when Citi completed its spin-out of Napier Park into an independent operating entity. They are now wholly-owned by Napier Park Global Capital LP. The use of Banc in the BAS's name is indicative of the fact that the company is not a bank, and their deposits and other holdings are not insured by the FDIC.
