SAM Sustainable Asset Management AG (SAM) is the Swiss investment advisory subsidiary of RobecoSAM AG, ultimately owned by Cooperatieve Centrale Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank BA in The Netherlands. Established in 1995 as an investment management firm, SAM is headquartered in Zurich and has branches and representative offices in the US, Australia, Italy, Germany and Sweden. The firm specializes in sustainable investments and manages discretionary/advisory mandates as well as mutual funds for private individuals and institutional clients such as banks, insurance companies, pension funds and foundations.

Robeco Schweiz AG is the Switzerland-based asset management subsidiary of ORIX Corporation Europe NV, itself a subsidiary of ORIX Corp. (TSE: 8591) in Japan. Formerly known as SAM Sustainable Asset Management AG, the firm was founded in 1995 as the first asset manager focused exclusively on Sustainability Investing. They were acquired by Robeco Group in 2007 and renamed RobecoSAM AG in 2013 as part of Robeco's strategy to further align its group-wide Sustainability Investing activities. The firm became Robeco Schweiz AG in 2020. Headquartered in Zurich, Robeco Schweiz offers a comprehensive palette of products including in-house asset management, Sustainability Indices, corporate sustainability assessments, active ownership and engagement, and customized portfolio benchmarking solutions for private and institutional investors.

In May 2013, Kepler Capital Markets SA completed the acquisition of Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux SA from Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank SA, a unit of Crédit Agricole SA. Kepler Capital Markets intends to combine its business with Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux under a new entity, Kepler Cheuvreux, in 2013, and will be headquartered in Paris. They will have offices in Amsterdam, Boston, Frankfurt, Geneva, London, Madrid, Milan, New York, San Francisco, Stockholm, Vienna and Zurich.
