CSAM manages a diversified range of investment funds in mainland China. Their assets are spread across different currencies to reduce the impact of forex fluctuations. They primarily invest in Chinese active equity, passive equity and fixed-income which are led by their flagship product CSI 500 ETF where product types covers market cap, sector, theme, smart-beta, cross border, and enhanced index funds, and covers the majority of A-share by market cap. CSAM invests in foreign stocks through a global macro fund, which invests in other funds focused on various global markets. They manage this fund of funds, which is domestically available, in cooperation with their US-based partner, Mellon Financial.
