Margaret M. Samuel

Ms. Samuel has analyzed, traded and managed money market, fixed income, common equity and derivative hedging instruments and portfolios, gaining in-depth experience in fundamental, technical and quantitative disciplines.
Prior to joining Quadrezz, She was the Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Alternum Capital, where she managed the Alternum Capital Enriched Long-Short Fund.
From 2001 to 2003, Ms. Samuel was a Portfolio Manager for BluMont Capital Corporation and Hirsch Asset Management Corp.
(“BluMont”) (aggregate of approximately $300 million under management).
At BluMont, Ms. Samuel was portfolio manager of $12 million of Canadian equity mutual funds.
Between 1997 and 2001, Ms. Samuel held positions of Vice President, Investment Advisor and Equity Analyst with the Royal Bank Group of Companies, and during this time, managed a $20 million Canadian equity portfolio.
From 1995 to 1997, she managed a derivatives portfolio for National Trust after having held a Fixed Income Investment Analyst position at the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board.
Ms. Samuel graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Laws degree, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction.
She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
