Mark Lang

Mark Lang is a Managing Director of Alfa Capital Partners’ private equity team with a primary focus on the maritime infrastructure fund of which the company is regional manager, joining in September 2004.
Mr Lang has over 10 years experience of shipping and maritime infrastructure activities in Russia and C.I.S.
countries during which time he structured and raised substantial amounts of capital for shipping companies in the region.
Mr Lang has substantial maritime infrastructure project finance experience and has served as a director of both Volgatanker and North Western Shipping Company in Russia.
He has worked with both substantial Russian and foreign companies in the region.
Mr Lang is an English Solicitor, previously working in City of London law firms specialising in ship finance and commercial shipping work and has a degree in agricultural economics.
