Molly A. Murphy

Ms. Murphy is responsible for product development and investment strategy implementation throughout the firm.
Prior to coming to Seasongood Asset Management, she was a portfolio manager in the Trust department of a Cincinnati-based regional bank.
She managed over $3.5 billion in various fixed income mutual funds and client accounts, specializing in short-intermediate duration fixed income strategies.
Serving mostly institutions, Ms. Murphy has particular expertise in the area of public finance investing.
Ms. Murphy graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a BS in Business.
She continued her education at Xavier University and received an MBA in Finance.
Ms. Murphy has earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and is a General Securities Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative.
Ms. Murphy speaks regularly at many industry conferences and seminars.
She has been active in the continuing education process in the State of Ohio, lecturing at events and conferences for the Ohio Association of School Business Officials, the Ohio Municipal Finance Officers Association, the Ohio Municipal Treasurers Association and the Center for Public Investment Management.
In addition, Ms. Murphy has received the Ohio Financial Accountability Certification from the Office of the Auditor of State of Ohio.
Ms. Murphy is a member of several national and local academic and industry organizations such as the Association of Investment Management and Research, the Cincinnati Society of Financial Analysts, American Mensa and the Cincinnati Area Mensa.
Ms. Murphy's name also appears in Marquis Who's Who of American Women.
Ms. Murphy is active in local charities and fundraising.
She is a member of The Junior League of Cincinnati, has served as a business volunteer to The Art League of Cincinnati, and has assisted the Cincinnati Zoo in its annual fundraising campaigns.
