After graduating from Tokyo University in 1994, Naoki joined Daiichi Life in April of that year.
Following a spell at the Japan Center for Economic Research, he became a senior researcher at the Daiichi Life Research Institute, taking charge of forecasting and analysis
of US and Japanese economic trends and interest rates.
Naoki took a post as an economist with BNP Paribas in November 2000, and assumed his current role at Goldman Sachs in October 2003.
