Mr. Nicholas G.
Bishop, CFA, is a Head of Australian Fixed Income at Aberdeen Asset Management Ltd.
He is also a member of both the Credit and Sector Allocation team and the Risk Oversight Group.
He joined Aberdeen Standard Investments as a result of the merger between Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life in August 2017.
Mr. Bishop joined Aberdeen in 2007, following Aberdeen’s acquisition of Deutsche Asset Management (Australia) Limited.
He spent two years at Canada Life Insurance Co as a financial services consultant before joining Deutsche in 1998.
He was a member of the UK economic team, helping to formulate and implement interest rate strategy before becoming a fund manager and credit analyst in the credit team.
Mr. Bishop holds a First Class Honours degree in Law and Criminology from the University of Sheffield.
He is also a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Institute.
