Norman E. Gaut

Dr. Norman E.
Gaut is an Advisor at NewWorld Capital Group LLC.
He is on the Board of Directors at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He is Chairman of SuperWater Solutions Inc., Galactic Energy, LLC, and Semaco Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Earlier, he founded and was President of Environmental Research and Technology, Inc., and served as CEO of PictureTel Corporation.
Dr. Gaut is a serial entrepreneur.
He co-founded Environmental Research and Technology, Inc., one of the first and largest environmental services companies specializing in air quality and subsequently the full spectrum of environmental issues.
Later, he led PictureTel into a leading videoconferencing enterprise.
Today, he is deeply involved in several ventures focusing on environmental improvement and alternative energy and is a director of a number of energy-related-technology companies.
Dr. Gaut is a Life Member of the MIT Corporation.
In years past, he served as a trustee and later as an overseer of Boston University.
Dr. Gaut holds a BA (Phi Beta Kappa) in physics from UCLA, an MA in meteorology from MIT, a PH.D in planetary physics from MIT, and a certificate from the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
