Balaji is the founder of Telecom Sector Skill Council, Telecom Equipment & Services Export Promotion Council.
He currently holds the positions of Vice Chairman at Cellular Operators Association of India, Chairman at Assocham National Digital Communications Council, and Member at All India Management Association.
Previously, he held positions such as Director-Regulatory, External Affairs & CSR at Vodafone India Ltd., Managing Director & Vice President at Microsoft Devices India, Managing Director at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications India Pvt Ltd., and Managing Director at Nokia India Sales Pvt Ltd. He is also a member of various industry associations such as Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India, and Confederation of Indian Industry.
Mr. Balaji holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and an undergraduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
