Patrick Feeney

Patrick Feeney is Managing Director of Lateral and a member of its investment committee.
His primary responsibilities include managing the investment team, originating new investment opportunities, underwriting transactions, overseeing operations professionals and monitoring portfolio companies.
Patrick is a member of the boards of directors of multiple companies in which Lateral has invested, including chairman of Santa Cruz Valley Regional Hospital.
Before founding Lateral, Patrick was a Vice President at Macquarie Group, a leading global merchant bank, where he invested in growth companies across various sectors.
Before joining Macquarie, Patrick was an Associate at Makena Capital Management, an endowment-style global alternative investment manager.
Prior to Makena, Patrick was an Associate at Morgan Stanley within the firm’s fixed income division.
Patrick received his J.D., with honors, from Northwestern University, his M.B.A.
from Northwestern University’s the Kellogg School of Management, and his B.A.
from Cornell University.
Away from the office, Patrick enjoys the pursuit of endurance sports challenges and is an Ironman and Double Century finisher.
He spends weekends playing with his three children who teach him about real endurance.
