Peter Apostolopoulos

Mr. Peter Apostolopoulos is a Founding Partner & Portfolio Manager at Agora Asset Management Pty Ltd.
He founded Agora Asset Management in 2006.
Mr. Apostolopoulos has worked in both corporate strategy and the financial markets since 1988.
In July 1998 he established and was the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Alpha Investment Management, an Australian Equities Manager managing benchmark style products and with approximately $3 billion in funds under management.
Alpha was a joint venture with investment bank Babcock & Brown.
Prior to Alpha, from 1993 to 1998, he held the position of senior portfolio manager at Mercury Asset Management.
In addition to managing Australian equities, he was also responsible for the establishment of the Australian equity research process, including the development of a proprietary valuation system.
He has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (University of NSW) and an Arts Degree from the University of Sydney.
