Richard Oirschot

Richard Oirschot is Director of Business Turnaround having joined the London Office in 2004 to head up this side of the business.
He graduated in Economics from Loughborough University before qualifying as a chartered accountant with Grant Thornton in 1984.
Upon qualification he chose to specialise in Corporate Recovery and Turnaround work.
He obtained his Insolvency Practitioners Licence in 1989 and prior to joining Barclays Ventures, he has worked in mid tier accountancy firms, at either director or partner level, where he was involved in numerous assignments as Investigating Accountant, Receiver or Administrator.
These assignments over the 20 years have covered a broad selection of different business sectors.
Since joining Barclays Ventures he has to date executed a number of investments in a range of sectors from manufacturing to cosmetics to restaurants.
