Robert P. Ryan

Mr. Robert P.
Ryan is a Chief Strategist at BCA Research, Inc. He joined BCA in 2014, he has served as the Managing Editor and Chief Strategist for the CES service.
Prior to joining BCA, Mr. Ryan was a consulting economist at Limehouse Research & Trading.
As director of options research at the New York Mercantile Exchange, he developed options on crude oil and refined products futures.
After that, he spent 18 years in the markets at Clarendon Ltd; Bankers Trust; J.
Aron; and Deutsche Bank.
He also worked as an economist at the U.S.
DOE; a roughneck and derrick hand on natural-gas rigs in Colorado; and a newspaper reporter and editor.
He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute at Monterey, CA, and Penn State University, where he received degrees in Journalism and Economics.
