Ruth Alon is on the board of Technion Research & Development Foundation Ltd.

Ruth is a member/Director of the: Technion BOG, Council & Advisory Committee; Technion R&D Foundation (TRDF); Madatech Science Museum and Haifa Museums.
She was also a member of the Haifa City Council (nonpartisan), and a Director at Haifa Economic Corporation, “Maccabi Holdings”, “Maccabi Care”, NGT (incubator), and “Amidar” (as a member of the first “Directors’ Team” selected by the Ministry of Finance).
Upon returning to Israel in 1993, after working at “Memorex” in the Silicon Valley for 14 years, Ruth founded and managed (CEO & President) the first & leading ISP in Israel – “Netvision Ltd”.
In 2013 Ruth was awarded an Honorary Fellowship from the Technion for her achievements and contributions to the Technion, and her efforts in promoting women’s roles in the Hi-Tech industry and at the Technion.
Ruth holds a B.Sc.
in CS (Technion) and a M.Sc.
in IE&M from the Technion.
