Ryan Dawson

Ryan Dawson, Director, joined New Mountain Capital in 2021.
Prior to joining New Mountain he was a Principal in the Operating Advisory Group of Comvest Partners from 2017-2021.
At Comvest, he led value creation activities for several healthcare, industrial, and retail portfolio companies, collaborating closely with management teams on transformative growth and profitability initiatives.
Prior to Comvest, he joined the operating team of The Gores Group in 2011, executing complex carve-out and turn-around transactions in the healthcare, technology, and industrial verticals, as well as performing due-diligence and transaction support.
Earlier in his career, he was a Case Team Leader with Bain & Company, leading strategy, operational excellence, and private equity diligence projects in the retail, telecom, industrial, and healthcare industries.
Mr. Dawson earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with the highest distinction of Palmer Scholar, and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
