Meiji Yasuda Asset Management Co. Ltd. (Meiji Yasuda-AM) is the majority-owned asset management subsidiary of Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Co. in Japan. The firm was founded in 1986 through the merger of Dresdner RCM Global Investors Japan Ltd. and Meisei Capital Management Company Ltd. It was formerly known as MDAM Asset Management Co. Ltd. after they absorbed Meiji Dresdner Investment Trust in 2000. In 2010, Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Co. consolidated MDAM Asset Management Co. Ltd. and Yasuda Asset Management Co. Ltd. to form Meiji Yasuda-AM. Headquartered in Tokyo, the firm provides asset management services and products to group pensions, non-financial entities and institutional investors. Meiji Yasuda-AM is a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI) which integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into their investment process.
