Stephen Hand

Stephen Hand is Director of Information Technology for The Lloyd's Register Group and a Fellow of the British Computing Society.
He was Head of Information Technology for Trade Indemnity Insurance from 1996 to 2000, Manager of The Law Society Systems Development from 1993 to 1996, and Manager of Information Technology for Zurich Municipal Insurance from 1991 to 1993.
Mr. Hand was appointed as a Member of the Advisory Board for the National Computing Centre in 2005 and a Member of the Board of Governors at Middlesex University in 2007.
He was Manager of Business Systems for Morgan Grenfell Bank from 1985 to 1991.
He began his career at London Transport.
Mr. Hand holds a BA degree with honors in History and Politics.
