Tamara Burnell

Ms. Tamara Burnell is Head of Credit and Equity at Futuregrowth Asset Management (Pty) Ltd.
She is responsible for managing the team of analysts assessing debt and equity transactions for Futuregrowth's range of funds, ensuring that Futuregrowth has robust investment processes and continually challenges the status quo.
She has worked in the financial services industry for 20 years, including 14 years managing a team of investment analysts at M&G Investments in London (part of the Prudential plc group), specialising in listed and unlisted credit.
Prior to that, she worked for Fitch Ratings and Merrill Lynch as a research analyst and the Bank of England and Financial Services Authority as a banking regulator and policy analyst.
