Bowen is a Managing Director & Partner at HighTower Advisors LLC.
He has advised ultra-high net worth families for over 11 years.
Mr. Bowen spent the first 4 years working at Merrill Lynch in the Private Banking and Investment Group and in 2008, he joined Credit Suisse.
Prior to entering the wealth management industry, he worked for several start-up companies (Parson Group, Orbit Commerce, and Scribe) in senior management roles.
He also worked for Crate&Barrel in myriad capacities, including opening key new markets (New York and Atlanta) and working with a Management Consultant on several critical financial and operational projects.
Mr. Bowen graduated from Northwestern University’s J.L.
Kellogg School of Management in 1992.
He graduated from the Honors Program at Loyola University of Chicago with distinct honors, spending his junior year in Rome at the Gregorian University in Rome.
In 1982, he graduated from Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois.
