William Werkmeister

Mr. Werkmeister is a former investment banker with the Corporate Finance and Asset Backed Finance Divisions of Citigroup / Salomon Smith Barney where he worked on structured capital raises and M&A advisory projects for clients including General Electric, American Express, Vivendi, Honda, and Sallie Mae.
After leaving Citigroup, Mr. Werkmeister joined lender Newtek Small Business Finance, Inc. as Director of Treasury, overseeing the firm's daily cash balance, revolving credit facilities, and SBA 7(a) trading operations, and as Assistant Vice President of Newtek Securities, LLC.
Mr. Werkmeister graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University with a B.S.
in Applied Economics and Management, where he was named a USAA Academic All-American and awarded the Cyril F.
Crowe Prize, one of the Department’s highest honors.
