Alberto Cantarini joined Duet in July 2007 to launch and co-manage the Duet Macro Fund.
Prior to joining Duet Alberto was the CIO of Cheyne Global Opportunities Fund which he co-managed since September 2004.
Prior to that he was the CIO of Banca Monte Dei Paschi di Siena, Italy’s fourth largest bank by assets, since September 2001.
There, he was responsible for the creation and management of all five of the Banks trading desks (fixed Income, Equity, Corporate Bonds, FX and Credit Derivatives.
For the four years prior to that, Mr. Cantarini headed up trading efforts both at Banca Di Roma and Banca Nazionale dell’Agricola.
He has also held Fixed Income trading posts at Banca Intesa (London) and Cofilp Sim (Milan).
He holds a Degree in Business Administration from Univerita la Sapienza in Rome.
