Barbara A. Pires

Ms. Barbara A. Pires joined FBR Capital Markets International Ltd in August 2009 as a Research Analyst.
She was previously a senior equity analyst at MainFirst, joining in November 2006, covering financial institutions.
Prior to joining MainFirst, she worked for Evolution Securities, with previous positions at Lehman Brothers and ABN Amro as a banks equity analyst.
At Lehman Brothers, she also led the European Real Estate Equity research team.
She started her career at Santander Investment in London where she was responsible for the coverage of Southern European banks.
Ms. Pires holds a Master of Economics from the Catholic University of Portugal.
