Mr. Calvin Walker is a Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at PPM America, Inc. He is responsible for investment and allocation decisions for several of the firm’s fixed income strategies, including core fixed income and investment grade credit which are managed on behalf of investors globally.
Mr. Walker joined the portfolio management team in 2005 from PPM’s information technology team where he contributed to various quantitative analysis projects.
Prior to joining PPM in 2000, Mr. Walker was a research engineer at BP Amoco.
He earned a master’s degree in business administration with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois.
