David Charles Baker

Mr. David C.
Baker, CFA, is a Senior Director of Investment Strategy & Communications at Laird Norton Wetherby Wealth Management LLC.
He works with the firm’s Chief Investment Officer to design and implement LNW’s investment strategy.
Specifically, he leads the portfolio modeling process, both for strategic and tactical positioning, including the development of capital market assumptions, portfolio optimization and risk analysis.
He also supports the firm’s manager research process, working closely with LNW sector-specific analysts as they seek out the investment vehicles in both public and private markets best-suited for client portfolios, as well as the ongoing monitoring of such investments.
In addition, he produces LNW’s monthly economic summaries and is a key contributor to LNW’s quarterly investment commentaries.
Having worked in wealth management and financial services for nearly 20 years.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Baker was a Financial Advisor at Pacific Capital Resource Group.
He received his B.A. in Business Administration from University of Washington.
