Dilg Robert

Robert has experience as a banker, financial executive, accountant, and commercial construction consultant.
He joined MetaFund in 2013, having retired from a 30-year career in banking.
Early experience included financial and accounting positions with a regional electrical contractor and a multi-national chemical company.
Having successfully passed the November 1981 CPA examination, he then began his career with the accounting firm of KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick) in St. Louis, Missouri, later transferring to their Oklahoma City Office.
Although his client base was diverse, he specialized in the financial services area.
At KPMG, Robert received training as a bank audit specialist and a computer audit specialist.
After leaving KPMG, he served as assistant controller and then controller of an Oklahoma City bank which specialized in correspondent banking services.
In 1987, Robert began his 26 year career at MidFirst Bank as Director of Financial Planning.
He became Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer a few years later, then moved to the operations side of the bank in 1995, serving as Chief Operating Officer.
In 1997 he became president of the bank, overseeing a significant expansion of MidFirst’s retail and commercial banking businesses.
During that time, the bank entered several new markets in Oklahoma, including Tulsa, Edmond, and Norman, growing the Oklahoma network from 22 offices to 50.
