Gawein Geraedts

Mr. Geraedts is a seasoned private equity portfolio operating professional.
Mr. Geraedts joined Oaktree in 2020 from the Anicura Group (backed by Nordic Capital), where he served as a country manager for AniCura and VetFamily.
Prior thereto, Mr. Geraedts was the director of business development for Mirror Controls International (owned by Egeria Private Equity).
Previously, he was an interim and turnaround manager for portfolio companies.
Mr. Geraedts began his career with Ducker Research Europe as an analyst and Callidus Technologies as a sales director before joining Heidelberg Cement AG as a corporate development manager focused on group strategy.
Mr. Geraedts received an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a M.Sc.
in business and economics from Universiteit van Amsterdam.
He also attended the Royal Dutch Naval Academy (KIM) for fleet officer training.
Mr. Geraedts is a native Dutch speaker and is fluent in French and German.
