Fjord is a hands-on manager which invests in clean energy with a focus on industrial resource efficiency in the energy, water and materials sectors. They investigate both supply- and demand-side opportunities that have a near-term productivity enhancing impact on customers, and which are not dependent on government support. Their investment focus is on IP-based technology/equipment providers, scalable industrial application packagers, specialized high value-added service providers and legacy technology companies with repurposing potential. The firm supports investee company growth and prepares them for exit through a trade sales and IPOs.
