Ares Real Estate Group manages comprehensive public and private equity and debt strategies. Our Real Estate Group provides debt and equity capital to a broad spectrum of borrowers, property owners and real estate developers. We seek to create value for investors by investing in under-managed and undercapitalized assets in supply-constrained markets, targeting de-risked assets and markets with consistent demand fundamentals, high barriers to new supply and strong liquidity characteristics. Our debt strategies leverage diverse sources of capital to directly originate and manage commercial mortgage investments on properties that range from stabilized to requiring hands on value creation. We primarily target major property types including industrial, multifamily, office, retail, lodging and senior-living properties and selectively consider hospitality, mixed-use, self-storage, single-tenant/owner-occupied, specialty use and student housing.
