Lai Ping Chi

Lai Ping Chi is currently the Chairman of Mazarine Asia Pacific, Hong Kong Zhongzhi Asia Co. Ltd., and a Director of Taiwan M&A & Private Equity Council.
He is also an Independent Director of Airmate (Cayman) International Co., Ltd. and an Independent Director of Prudential International Life Insurance Co. Ltd. In the past, he served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MetLife, Inc., Chief Executive Officer-Greater China of Sony Life Insurance Co., Ltd., and Chairman of FWD Life (Hong Kong) Ltd. He was also an Independent Director of Taishin Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. and Yuanta Financial Holding Co. Ltd. Additionally, he served as the Managing Director of Sino-US MetLife Insurance Co., Ltd. and General Manager of MetLife Taiwan Insurance Co. Ltd. He holds an undergraduate degree from The Trustees of Columbia University in The City of New York and a graduate degree from The University of Chicago.
