Lee Janny

Janny evaluates direct capital investments and is responsible for the development and execution of current projects.
She works closely with the development of Redbadge’s portfolio of companies and brings a passion for growing companies while providing strategic advice to entrepreneurs.
In addition, she spearheads Redbadge’s growth efforts and is responsible for strengthening relationships across the financial and entrepreneurial communities.
In 2015, Janny co-founded Redbadge’s first regional office in Seoul, Korea.
Janny has a unique multi-disciplinary expertise to build successful platforms with combined investment banking, operating and entrepreneurial experiences.
She has been directly involved in the origination and execution of several billion dollars worth of domestic and cross-border financing and strategic M&A transactions across the media, technology, and communications industries.
Previously, she was with Redwood Capital Group, Primedia, Inc. (a former Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. portfolio company), Banc of America Securities LLC (formerly Montgomery Securities) and Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. She was a founding member of a financial software company that was funded by Goldman Sachs Ventures.
Janny is a graduate of Cornell University.
She is also an Executive Council Member and Strategic Advisor to Digital Entertainment Ventures, and Senior Advisor to Atwood Capital Partners.
